No. It ferments with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel, completes malolactic in steel and matures in steel and then bottle, so the fruit carries the wine.

What does it taste like?

Intense, clean aromas of redcurrant, blueberry and sour cherry followed by violet and pink pepper, with a fresh attack, silky fine tannins and a persistent close on red cherry and redcurrant.

How are the vines grown?

Fifteen hectares of Abruzzese pergola at Cugnoli, 350 metres up on clay-limestone, planted at 2,500 vines per hectare and cropped at 45 hectolitres.
