Oncedo is a varietal Mencía from controlled yields in the Oncedo parcel of Finca Robledo, one of the estate's own vineyards at Cacabelos. It spends eight months in French oak and a minimum of six months in bottle before release.
An intense and fresh wine with the personal aromas of the Mencía grape: broom flower and cassis, with coconut and vanilla from the oak. It has good structure in the mouth, well integrated tannins and appreciable length, with an agreeable finish.
