Palate: dry and intense, elegant, lees-built volume
Lime-green in the glass, delicately scented with lemon, grapefruit zest and white peach over mineral notes, dry and intense with lees-given volume.
The estate describes a lime-green colour and a delicate aroma of citrus and white fruits where lemon, grapefruit zest and white peach stand out alongside mineral notes. It is dry, elegant and intense, its natural acidity harmonised by the structure and volume that come from ageing on fine lees.
One hundred percent Encruzado, harvested and vinified at Quinta das Camélias, at 13.5 percent alcohol.
Classic open-must vinification with settling, then ageing on fine lees, which is what gives the wine its volume.
