History
Achleiten is a widely farmed Wachau grand-cru site, shared by multiple producers. Prager's version consistently emphasises the site's exotic-spice quality from its unusual amphibolite mineral content, differentiating it from the more slate-dominated Rieslings of the Loiben estates.
- 1975 — First Prager Achleiten Riesling Smaragd as a single-Ried bottling
- 1997 — Prager Achleiten Riesling Smaragd enters the Wachau export market through specialist Austrian wine importers
