Traditional-style Grüner Veltliner Smaragd from the 1786-founded Machherndl estate at Wösendorf; honest pepper-and-pear character aged in old barrels.

What it pairs with

  • Boiled beef with root vegetables
The wine's medium body and herbal-pepper notes complement traditional boiled meat dishes.
  • Grilled carp
A classic Austrian riverside pairing with medium-bodied Grüner Veltliner.
  • Pumpkin soup with roasted seeds
The wine's herbal and mineral notes lift a creamy pumpkin soup.
