History

Vite Talin comes from a single Nebbiolo vine of unusual character that Luciano Sandrone found in an old vineyard facing Barolo castle, rented to him by its former owner Natale, known as Talin. He propagated it by field grafting, and in 2017 DNA analysis confirmed it as Nebbiolo. The first vintage, 2013, was released in 2019 after six years of ageing.
