Frequently asked about Elyssia Pinot Noir Brut Rose

What does Elyssia Pinot Noir Brut Rose taste like?

Wild strawberry, raspberry, redcurrant and floral citrus on the nose; red berry, fine acidity, elegant creaminess and soft mousse on the palate. Medium-bodied with high acidity and a medium finish.

When should I drink Elyssia Pinot Noir?

Drink within 0 to 4 years of disgorgement. Serve well chilled at 7 to 9 degrees Celsius; the wine is built for freshness and the salmon-pink colour fades with extended ageing.

What grapes are in Elyssia Pinot Noir Brut Rose?

85 percent Pinot Noir and 15 percent Trepat, the indigenous Catalan red used for rose Cava. Vinified with short skin maceration for the salmon-pink colour.

What food pairs with Elyssia Pinot Noir?

Grilled prawns and Iberian ham are classic Catalan matches. Salmon tartare and fresh berry tart also work because the red-fruit aromatics bridge savoury and sweet.
