What does Almyra taste like?

Skouras describes a green-yellow colour with a few greenish hues and an expressive nose of ripe peach, tropical fruit such as pineapple and hints of lemon, followed by butter, bread and caramel. The mouth is rich, round, refreshing and balanced with a long, complex finish.

Is Almyra oaked?

Partly. Seventy percent of the must ferments in stainless steel and 30 percent in new 225 litre French oak barriques, where it completes malolactic fermentation and matures on lees for six months with regular batonnage.

What grape is Almyra made from?

It is 100 percent Chardonnay from Corinthia, harvested in the middle of August after six hours of skin contact at 14 degrees.
