History
Singerriedel is a historic Ried above Spitz on steep gneiss and granite soils. Domäne Wachau controls significant parcels here and has made this one of their prestige single-vineyard Riesling cuvées. The site's cooler exposure produces a distinctly tighter, more mineral style than the Kellerberg.
- 1955 — Singerriedel Riesling Smaragd first bottled separately by the cooperative
- 2008 — Elevated to Premium Ried tier under the Domäne Wachau brand
