What it pairs with
-
Atlantic shellfish platter
Saline citrus drive and stone fruit pair fresh crab and prawn; mineral close picks up the iodine. -
Polvo a feira
Pimenton-dusted octopus meets the wine's wet-stone register; high acidity cuts the olive oil. -
Grilled prawns with garlic
Lime and white-peach aromatics partner sweet shellfish; high-acid drive cuts the butter. -
Aperitif with almonds
White-flower aromatics make it a serious aperitif Alvarinho; the mineral close partners roasted nuts.
