Aroma: violet, dark cherry, black plum, cedar

Palate: concentrated dark fruit, silky tannins, cedar, mineral

The flagship from the tiny La Aguilera estate, combining concentration with freshness: violet, dark cherry and cedar from old-vine Tinto Fino aged 16 months in mostly-new French oak, with fine silky tannins.

What it pairs with

  • Cordero lechal al horno
Classic match -- Castilian roast suckling lamb and an old-vine La Aguilera red.
  • Roast Iberico pork loin
Silky tannins and dark fruit complement the premium pork.
  • Aged Manchego with walnuts
Fine tannins meet the nutty, saline cheese to create a harmonious pairing.
