Ca' Florian is Tommasi's single-vineyard flagship Amarone from the old Ca' Florian hillside in the Classico zone, showing dense, chocolatey concentration with elegant tannin structure and long mineral finish.

What it pairs with

  • Brasato al Amarone con polenta
The canonical Veronese pairing; Ca' Florian's chocolate-plum notes are ideal in the braise.
  • Rack of lamb with rosemary
Firm tannins and dried herbs echo the rosemary crust; the wine's acidity balances lamb fat.

History

Ca' Florian was created by Tommasi to express the specific character of their old Ca' Florian hillside vineyard in the Classico zone; a step up in concentration and ageing potential from the estate's standard Amarone Classico, released in small quantities.

  1. 1995 — First Ca' Florian single-vineyard Amarone release
