Grapes for the Amarone come from Mandolari, Tondin, Bosco and La Costa, hand-picked in the third ten days of September with the best sun-exposed bunches selected, then dried in the fruttaio for ninety to one hundred and ten days and fermented without added yeasts for thirty to forty days on the skins.
The estate describes a deep ruby red tending to garnet, very clean scents of berry fruit, jam and cherries in spirit, and flavours of vanilla, spices, liquorice and bitter almonds. It is 16 percent alcohol.
