History

The Riserva takes the same fruit as the estate's Amarone, from Mandolari, Tondin, Bosco and La Costa, and differs in its ageing: 350-litre barriques alone rather than barrique plus large cask, followed by longer bottle time.

The fruit and the drying are the same, ninety to one hundred and ten days in the fruttaio and a spontaneous thirty to forty day fermentation, but the Riserva is aged in 350-litre barriques alone before bottle, where the standard Amarone also passes through 26 hectolitre casks.
