VORS Amontillado from Osborne's deepest soleras: 30-plus year average age gives extraordinary rancio concentration and complexity in the dry El Puerto Atlantic microclimate.

What it pairs with

  • Contemplative sipping alone
VORS complexity warrants full attention without food distraction.
  • Aged raw-milk cheeses
Intense farmhouse cheese flavours match the wine's concentrated depth.

History

The AOS (named for the Amontillado Osborne Solera designation) represents the apex of Osborne's Amontillado range. A VORS designation requires the wine to have an average age of over 30 years across the full solera scale, certified by the Consejo Regulador. Released in very limited quantities from the El Puerto de Santa María bodega.

  1. 1772 — Foundation Amontillado solera established at Osborne
  2. 2000 — AOS VORS released commercially under modern packaging
