Aroma: lemon, honey, tangerine, mineral

Palate: sweet lemon, citrus

A demi-sec Chardonnay sparkler in light gold with a silver cast. Pure lemon, mineral, honey and tangerine on the nose, then a lively sweet-lemon attack offset by crisp acidity and a very clean structure.

What it pairs with

  • Strawberries and cream
The producer names this as a benchmark match; the dosage meets the fruit sugar head on.
  • Thai green curry
Residual sugar tames chilli heat while the acidity keeps the palate fresh.
  • Foie gras terrine
Honey and tangerine work with the richness the way a sweeter wine traditionally does.
