Aroma: white flowers, apple, green fruit

Palate: yeast, wood, citrus

Medium gold yellow with straw tints. Intense and complex, with white flowers and apple giving way to wood and yeast notes; dry, fresh and harmonious with a long aftertaste. Served at 10 to 12 degrees.

What it pairs with

  • Baked polenta with Brda prosciutto and cheese
Kristancic names this dish; the wine's weight carries the polenta and its acidity cuts the cure.
  • Grilled turkey steak
The producer names it; the yeast and wood notes meet browned white meat.
  • Frtalja with prosciutto and fennel
Kristancic names this omelette; the green fruit register runs with the fennel.
