History
The Abtei Muri Riserva is Muri-Gries' barrique flagship, drawn from two outstanding Lagrein sites in Gries-Moritzing. The Benedictine monastery has tended Lagrein vineyards in Gries for centuries; the Riserva format with barrique ageing modernized the cuvee in the early 1990s.
