What does Geometria Malagousia taste like?
Lafazanis describes a pale lemon-green colour with an aromatic character of juicy stone fruits and tropical fruits. Aromas of melon, banana, peach and apricot are framed by citrus, orange blossom and herbal hints, and the mouth is dry with lively acidity and a full, creamy body giving a juicy aftertaste.
When is Geometria Malagousia harvested?
Malagousia is the earliest variety at the winery and marks the start of the harvest each year, picked between 20 and 31 August.
Where do the grapes come from?
They come from selected Nemea vineyards at 300 to 400 metres of altitude on clay and calcareous soils, planted at 400 vines per stremma with an average yield of 1,100 kilos per stremma.
Is Geometria Malagousia oaked?
No. After cold maceration the wine ferments under controlled low temperature at 14 to 16 degrees with no barrel contact.
