History

Gelber Muskateller (yellow Muscat) is a historic Austrian grape variety producing aromatic, floral whites. Hofstätter is one of very few Wachau estates cultivating it, creating a distinctive wine outside the typical Grüner Veltliner and Riesling framework.

  1. 1998 — First Gelber Muskateller Federspiel from Hofstätter, one of the few commercial releases of this variety in the Wachau
