Aroma: fresh walnut, curry

Palate: fresh walnut, curry

The domaine calls this the little brother of its Vin Jaune: the same Savagnin under the same yeast veil, but bottled after a shorter ageing, with fresh walnut and curry aromas at a lower price and in a standard 75 cl bottle.

What it pairs with

  • Comte
A veil-aged Savagnin at this weight is the everyday Jura cheese white.
  • Chicken in cream sauce
Enough savour to hold a cream sauce without the price of Vin Jaune.
  • Mushroom tart
Veil ageing and fungal savour reinforce each other.
