Pelle's flagship village Menetou-Salon from Kimmeridgian limestone. Crisp, citrus-driven Sauvignon with chalky lift and excellent value.

What it pairs with

  • Pissaladière
Provençal onion tart and chalky Sauvignon; anchovy salt picks up the wine's saline lift.
  • Crottin de Chavignol
Loire goat cheese with citrus and chalk; the classic regional pairing.
  • Steamed mussels
Saline mineral edge and shellfish broth lock together; chalk lifts cream-shallot sauce.
  • Goat cheese salad with walnut
Chèvre tang, walnut and the wine's chalk minerality; lime aromatic finishes the dish.
