Aroma: yellow apple, white peach, almond, honeycomb

Palate: ripe apple, saline minerality, almond skin, candied citrus

The intense Vernaccia from 40-plus-year-old Pancole vines. More yellow-fruit weight and saline length than the annata, with the indigenous almond signature.

History

Clamys is Cesani's premium Vernaccia bottling, drawn from the oldest Pancole vines (planted from the early 1980s). Longer lees ageing and a brief used-oak step in selected vintages give the wine yellow-fruit weight and saline length.
