Is Animante organic?
Yes. Barone Pizzini has been certified organic since 1997, the first Franciacorta house to make that move. Animante is produced from organically farmed Chardonnay, Pinot Nero, Pinot Bianco and a small amount of Erbamat.
When should I drink Animante?
Drink within 0 to 6 years of disgorgement. The wine carries a creamy mousse and saline finish; younger releases are at their freshest.
