Aroma: ripe pear, apricot, acacia flower, thyme, sage

Palate: stone fruit, minerals, herbs

Medium deep gold yellow. The cool microclimate of the narrow stream valley and the day to night temperature swing give a fruit, flower and herb bouquet, and the marl underneath gives the minerality.

What it pairs with

  • Pasta or risotto with light sauces
Carga name both; the wine's body carries them without oak interference.
  • Vegetable lasagne
The producer names it; the thyme and sage notes run with the filling.
  • Poultry
Carga name poultry, which suits the wine's weight and herbal edge.
