Frequently asked about Seyval Blanc Cuvee Minnie Charlotte
Why does every Breaky Bottom cuvee have a person's name?
Peter Hall dedicates each single-vintage release to a friend, family member or figure he admires, so the cuvee name changes with the vintage rather than staying fixed like a brand.
What is Seyval Blanc?
A hybrid grape planted widely in England in the 1970s and now unfashionable almost everywhere except Breaky Bottom, which has built its reputation on long-aged traditional method Seyval since 1974.
How do I buy Breaky Bottom wine?
Through the vineyard's own online shop, generally by the case of six, or by appointment at the cellar door. The vineyard does not run daily tours or tastings.
