Oysters on the half shell
Saline mineral edge and shellfish brine align; citrus replaces lemon wedge. -
Steamed mussels

Crottin de Chavignol
Loire goat cheese tang meets Muscadet's chalky lift; the cuvée's white-flower aromatic handles the rind.
History

Frequently asked about Muscadet Sèvre et Maine Sur Lie
What does Brégeon Muscadet Sur Lie taste like?
Lemon, white flower, wet stone and salt on the nose; citrus, saline mineral, stony lift and creamy lees on the palate. Medium-bodied with high acidity and a long, saline finish.
When should I drink Brégeon Muscadet Sur Lie?
Drink between 2 and 12 years from vintage. Brégeon's long lees ageing (sometimes up to 7 years) gives the cuvée structural depth and ageing capacity unusual for village-level Muscadet.
What does Sur Lie mean?
Sur Lie is a Muscadet ageing technique consisting of ageing the wine without separating it from its lees. It adds roundness, complexity and a faint pétillance.
Is Brégeon Muscadet Sur Lie vegan?
Yes. The estate is organic-certified and the wines are produced without animal-derived fining agents.
