Frequently asked about Marina Cvetic Trebbiano d'Abruzzo Riserva

Where do the grapes come from?

Three communes in the province of Chieti: Bucchianico below the badlands, San Martino sulla Marrucina among woodland, and Ripa Teatina on stony river deposits.

Why is it aged in barrique?

Masciarelli considers French oak barrique the setting where Trebbiano d'Abruzzo develops personality and character, supported by high planting density and hand harvesting.

Is Trebbiano d'Abruzzo a grape variety?

It is a denomination. The disciplinare calls for at least 85 percent Trebbiano abruzzese and Trebbiano toscano, and Masciarelli bottles this Riserva as a pure Trebbiano d'Abruzzo.
