In the glass
Aroma: cassis, dark plum, roasted spice, incense
Palate: black fruit, espresso, graphite, fine-grained tannins
Trus's prestige old-vine selection aged 22 months in new French oak with cassis, espresso and graphite; structured and age-worthy from the best parcels of the western sector.
What it pairs with
-
T-bone steak with bone marrow butter
Dense tannins and roasted spice need the fat of a large beef cut. -
Braised oxtail with black truffle
Earthy graphite notes mirror the truffle and slow-cooked gelatinous sauce. -
Aged Manchego with membrillo
Saline aged cheese pairs with concentrated fruit and quince echoes.
