Tip: Via Garibaldi is where the city drinks late. Four more places on the same 200 metres stay open past one, so start here and walk.

The list: The house describes ottimi vini sfusi e in bottiglia, wine by the carafe as well as by the bottle, with tastings run on request.
Tip: Wine by the carafe is close to extinct in Italian city centres. This is the cheapest way in L'Aquila to drink Montepulciano by the glass all evening.

Tip: It runs later than the enoteche on Via Garibaldi, so it is the place to move to after the kitchens there close at one.

The list: A bar that trades as an enoteca and birreria together, pouring wine and beer from seven in the evening.
Tip: The square is quieter than Via Garibaldi, which makes this the one to pick when you want to hear the person across the table.
