Now in its fifth generation, the Dalamara family has worked wine making and distillation at Paliokalias since the 1840s. Visits end in a tasting hall built around the old distillery tools.

Tasting: A full cellar-door visit through the vineyard garden, fermentation tanks, bottling area and ageing vault, ending in a tasting hall built around the family's historic distillery tools; tsipouro and olives served on request.

Tip: The tasting hall doubles as a small museum of the family's old distilling tools, ask the guide to point them out rather than rushing to the wine pours.
