The Tramin Wine Lane (Traminer Weingassl) decorates Tramin's central village lane each October Saturday, with Tramin's cooperative and private wineries pouring Gewurztraminer, Lagrein, Pinot Nero and other South Tyrolean wines alongside roasted chestnuts, fritters and Schlutzkrapfen. The 2026 edition is Saturday 17 October.

Tip: Pay the EUR 5 glass deposit on arrival and you receive a Tramin-coat-of-arms tasting glass. Free shuttle buses from Kaltern, St. Josef am See, Kurtatsch and Auer.

J. Hofstaetter Wine Bar (Vineria Hofstaetter) ★ 4.6

J. Hofstaetter's contemporary tasting room and wine bar sits beside the estate's wine shop on Tramin's main piazza. Estate-focused programme - Mazon Pinot Nero, Steinraffler Lagrein, Joseph Gewurztraminer and the full Hofstaetter range. Open most evenings; closed Sunday and Monday.
