In the glass
Aroma: golden apple, white peach, lemon zest, fresh bread
Palate: crisp apple, light cream, mineral, dry finish
Bosco di Gica (Gica's wood) is a mid-range Brut from Adami, positioned between Dei Casel and the Rive Giardino. The Brut style emphasises the Valdobbiadene zone's fresh, mineral character without the Ex Dry sweetness.
What it pairs with
-
Fried calamari
Brut acidity and fine perlage are the classic match for light fried seafood. -
Green salad with citrus dressing
The wine's citrus and mineral thread aligns with lemon-dressed salads. -
Smoked salmon
Dry, mineral character cuts through smoky richness.
History
Bosco di Gica was introduced to bridge Adami's entry-level and single-vineyard tiers. The name derives from a wooded parcel on the estate. It represents the Adami house style in Brut format: clean, precise and food-friendly.
- 2005 — Adami launches Bosco di Gica Brut as a mid-range alternative to Dei Casel Extra Dry.
