In the glass
Aroma: green apple, lemon zest, chalk mineral, dry herb
Palate: citrus pith, racy acidity, fine mineral, taut dry finish
Nino Franco's zero-dosage Brut Nature expression for consumers wanting the driest, most mineral face of Valdobbiadene DOCG Glera. Under 3 g/l residual sugar and racy acidity make this one of the most food-focused Proseccos in the portfolio.
What it pairs with
-
Plateau de fruits de mer
Zero dosage and racy mineral acidity are ideal for a mixed seafood platter. -
Burrata with salt flakes
The austerity of Brut Nature is lifted by the lactic richness of burrata.
History
The Brut Nature category emerged in the Prosecco DOCG zone in the 2010s as producers responded to demand for drier, more artisanal expressions. Nino Franco's Brut Nature represents Primo Franco's commitment to showing the full range of Glera's expression, from the classic fruity Rustico to the austerity of zero dosage.
- 2016 — Nino Franco releases a dedicated Brut Nature (zero dosage) Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG.
