A generous white Chateauneuf from La Janasse; aromatic, broad-textured, and herb-accented with white stone fruit and the estate's characteristic Provencal freshness.

What it pairs with

  • Bouillabaisse
Full-bodied white Chateauneuf is the traditional Provencal pairing for the classic fish stew.
  • Grilled sea bream with herb crust
Herb notes and full body complement white fish with Provencal herbs.
  • Artichoke with aioli
Anise and mineral notes cut through the garlic richness of aioli.

History

The white Chateauneuf from La Janasse was introduced in 1998 from Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, and Clairette vines at the estate. It offers access to the white Chateauneuf style at a more approachable price than Beaucastel or La Nerthe Clos de Beauvenir.
