In the glass
Aroma: white peach, almond blossom, lemon cream, mineral
Palate: crisp apple, citrus zest, chalk mineral, clean dry finish
Pinot Bianco on the volcanic soils of the Euganean Hills produces a wine of notable mineral freshness. The volcanic basalt structure of the Colli Euganei translates into a flinty mineral quality in white wines rarely seen in the Veneto plains.

History
Pinot Bianco has been grown in the Euganean Hills for over a century. Vignalta produces it as a single-varietal expression from volcanic parcels, emphasising the mineral character the basalt soils impart. It serves as the estate's dry white counterpart to the aromatic Fior d'Arancio and the full-bodied Gemola red.
- 1983 — Vignalta first releases a single-varietal Pinot Bianco from volcanic Colli Euganei parcels.
