History
Hofstaetter's Mazon Pinot Nero Riserva is one of South Tyrol's longest-established Pinot Noir bottlings. The Mazon plateau (limestone-sandstone, 380-450 metres, cooled by the Ora wind from Lake Garda) defined the modern Italian style of Pinot Noir.

When should I drink Mazon Riserva?
Drink between 5 and 20 years from vintage. The wine's structure rewards medium-term cellaring; producer notes suggest 'tremendous potential for further development with another two years bottle maturation'.
