Classic Andalusian aperitif complement for a dry Amontillado. -
Grilled prawns with olive oil
Savouriness of grilled shellfish amplifies the wine's mineral salinity. -
Chicken liver pâté
Rich pâté is cut by the wine's acidity while the nutty body provides depth.
History
Monteagudo is Delgado Zuleta's entry-level Amontillado, positioned below the Quo Vadis? VORS as an accessible expression of the bodega's biological-to-oxidative progression. It captures the characteristic Sanlúcar Amontillado character: saline, fresh and nutty, without the extreme concentration of the VORS tier.
- 1900 — Monteagudo label registered as a commercial Amontillado brand
