The grapes come from a parcel roughly divided between 70-year-old Mauzac bush vines and young vines grafted from the Mauzac Conservatory's collection of authentic, original stock of this historic grape variety. The estate operates a Mauzac Conservatory preserving 4,000 vines from 10 historic clones.
