Brigaldara's Classico Amarone is known for its precise, traditional approach: careful appassimento in the estate's fruttai and mixed Slavonian/French oak ageing producing a structured, age-worthy expression.

What it pairs with

  • Brasato al Amarone
The wine's dried-cherry concentration and firm tannins make it a natural match for the Veronese braised beef classic.
  • Risotto with aged Monte Veronese
The local aged cheese in a risotto echoes the wine's cedar-mineral register.

History

The Cesari family produces Amarone from the Classico zone vineyards around the Via Brigaldara estate in San Pietro in Cariano. A meticulous approach to appassimento has made Brigaldara a consistent quality benchmark.
