In the glass
Aroma: orange blossom, peach, apricot, rose, musk
Palate: delicate sweetness, floral and fruity, light body, aromatic persistence
Dindarello is Maculan's late-harvest Moscato, a lighter and more delicate counterpart to the intense Torcolato and Acininobili. From small Moscato (Muscat blanc a petits grains) grapes left on the vine to develop extra ripeness, it captures the variety's natural floral sweetness without botrytis intervention.
What it pairs with
-
Fresh fruit macedonia
The wine's floral sweetness echoes and amplifies the natural fruit sugars. -
Light sponge cake with strawberries
Delicate sweetness and floral character harmonise with sponge and fresh berries. -
Pastry cream tarts
Orange blossom and peach notes in the wine mirror the custard and stone fruit.
History
Dindarello completes Maculan's dessert wine trilogy at the lighter, more accessible end. Moscato grows around Breganze's lower-altitude slopes and the variety's natural aromatic intensity translates readily into a charming late-harvest sweet wine. The name is a local dialect term for a bell sound.
- 1980 — Maculan launches Dindarello as a late-harvest Moscato from the Breganze DOC area.
