History
Charles Joguet pioneered single-vineyard Chinon in the 1970s. Clos de la Dioterie is a walled clos of Cabernet Franc planted in 1953 on clay-limestone. The Genet family acquired the domaine from Joguet in 1985 and Kevin Fontaine took over winemaking in 2007.
